Mark R Johnston, Au.D., CCC/A, FAA. Dr. Johnston has been a practicing Clinical Audiologist since 1988 and is licensed by the State of
Darrell D. McQuade, B.S. Mr. McQuade graduated from Texas State University-San Marcos in May, 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders. He has since been working towards the completion of his Clinical Doctorate in Audiology to be conferred in May of 2008. He is a member of the National Association of Future Doctors of Audiology and the Texas Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Audiologists perform hearing tests, hearing rehabilitation, hearing aid dispensing, and ENG (balance testing) services. Alamo ENT offers state of the art digital hearing aids, and we service them as well. Any questions regarding amplification or assistive listening devices should be directed to the Audiology department.
Audiologists have earned a master or doctoral degree in audiology from an accredited university graduate program including theoretical and clinic training. They are required to complete a full-time internship and pass a national competency examination.
An Audiologist specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of hearing and balance disorders in coordination with your Otolaryngologist. The Audiology department at Alamo ENT uses state of the art equipment to accurately diagnose a patient’s problem. Treatment can begin immediately due to our accessibility to a patient’s ENT physician.
